Thanks for all the comments. But really its no big deal, I'm just banned from posting on a social media website. I'm not dead or have any health issues & I'm easily contactable if you need me.
Well its good to see a new month & the start of UK Sport making its comeback. Greyhound Racing, Horse Racing & Snooker. Sadly there was a death of a Horse (December Second) during a race in Newcastle which seems to have led to calls of it being banned by people on Twitter.

I'm no Horse Racing fan but its churlish to suggest the sport should be banned, Horses are treated like royalty and the quality of life for them is amazing. The Horse deaths actually declined by 6% in 2019 from the previous year.

Premier League & Championship are set to return in a few weeks behind closed doors. "Its not football" bellows a lot of people, Well its not football has we know it but it what we have to have and I'm sure people will get used to it and its better then being off the air. Villa vs Sheff Utd is a good start to it all.

Darts is doing well currently in the pandemic, PDC Home Tour, Remote Darts League & Modus Darts have all been well run competitions, with a different variety of players from both genders, Its provided fans with much needed entertainment and kept players in form, I believe DFH will continue once everything will get back to normal(ish) and will provide fun competitions, Its here to stay.

I suspect that the World Matchplay could be moved and maybe the Marshall Arena (Where the Snooker is currently) could be the answer, the facilities would suit and many of the players have been there before. It would fit the bill, Fingers crossed that this is played in some form.

Covid has been a bane in peoples life's for the last 7 months, With a lot of people have varied degrees of experience from it. But its all seems to be insane with the reactions.  Glen Durrant got tested positive on Thursday, And we all hope he is ok and back to health &  playing soon. Two twitter users questioned the fact that the PDC shouldn't be having people going across Europe to play in tournaments, Simply why do people thing this? Every player has their own right to travel and its their wishes which are respected. Its not easy for self employed people you know.  Moreover, Durrant was pictured in a Weatherspoon's with cough mixture, It seems he felt that he didn't have covid and was well enough to travel (Stephen Bunting & Adrian Lewis didn't think they had it too) , Sure enough that wasn't the case and he is isolating and will miss the European Championships, This got a few peoples backs up (A forum admin who has an agenda against him) & people...

World Matchplay thoughts

Well its been a great start to the World Matchplay. Who expected MVG, Price & Cross to be eliminated in the opening few nights? Certainly not me but you have to give credit to Whitlock, Noppert & Clemens for brilliant victories over the big trio. Wright had a massive scare against the "Special One" Jose De Sousa, His 2nd round match vs Durrant will be a fine tussle. Duzza's opening match against Jeffrey De Zwaan was the performance of the 1st round and possibly one of the best performances in Durrant's TV career, he looked untouchable, Needs to keep that level tomorrow. Ian White isn't really going to convert his floor form to TV, After getting to the Players Championship Semis last year, You thought he turned the corner (Early Days) but you have to beat the likes of Joe Cullen to set a statement in the big ones.
